Company

Oldroyd’s business idea is the design and manufacture of waterproof membranes used in the building industry. The company was founded in 1994 by John O. Cheetham, a Master Builder and the inventor of the Oldroyd process. John has considerable experience in the use of plastics in today’s construction industry and the company has quickly become a leader in the development of products using multi-layer technology.

Oldroyd designs all its own production machinery and the Oldroyd System, including several production techniques is patented. This innovative approach to product development is being applied to a range of new products for other business sectors.

Oldroyd offers a wide range of products supported by unrivalled technical back-up and customer service. We are constantly looking to introduce new products of interest to our customers. Our product portfolio includes a range of waterproof membranes for many applications found in today’s construction industry. All our products are unique and include features not found in other similar membranes. A series of brochures is available explaining each of these in greater detail.

Oldroyd has entered into a number of long-term international agreements. Partnerships are established to develop the marketing and distribution of Oldroyd products using the Oldroyd brand in many countries. In some cases however products can be made for partners to sell under their own name.

Through this extensive network we are able to maintain continuous contact with customers and products alike. We are, in this way, able to give service and support by identifying and responding to the individual and specific needs of our customers and their markets.

Oldroyd is currently shipping products to 15 countries and is continuously looking for opportunities to expand into new markets.
